OK so I’ve decided Hans is my favourite disney villain so far. He’s manipulative, betrays everyone and lies. But he’s not a stereotypical evil mastermind. In this, he’s different from every other disney villain. He doesn’t want to rule Arendelle as a dictator, or create a zombie army with which to take over the world. He wants a chance to rule over a kingdom, having been walked all over as a kid and seeing no promising future in his life. Really? He probably would’ve been a very successful king. He’s clearly a driving force with a good brain. He’s not someone everybody dislikes (unlike 99.99% of villains). He uses charm and wit to achieve his ways, not brute force. His strategies are like a dramatised version of medieval times throne overthrow. He is cruel (see: I’M GOING TO FUCKING MURDER ELSA AS SHE LIES IN THE DUNGEON HELPLESS) but it’s not a dominating aspect of his personality as with other villains. And he’s not someone with gag-quirks.  All in all, I reckon he was a great addition to Frozen and should cameo in game of thrones.
